LOCATION 📍

We’re right in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, surrounded by restaurants, bars, coffee shops, theaters, parks, and pretty much everything else you could want.

Coming for a conference or event? We’re just one block from the Salt Palace Convention Center, and many of downtown’s biggest venues are an easy walk away. The Delta Center, Temple Square, City Creek, Eccles Theater, and the rest of downtown are all right outside the door.

ACCESS 🚊

Getting around is super easy from here. We’re just a block from a TRAX light rail station, with trains that can take you to the airport, the University of Utah, and other parts of the valley without needing a car.

If you’re driving, we also have a dedicated underground parking spot. And if you’re bringing a bike, downtown is very bike-friendly too.

THE SPACE 🏢

Our home is a loft in a converted warehouse with 12-foot ceilings and a big open living area. You’ll have your own private bedroom with a comfortable king bed and an en suite bathroom. The building itself has a bakery and a bar on the ground floor, so coffee, breakfast, pizza, and drinks are literally an elevator ride away.

We’re a pretty relaxed, casual household. The apartment is clothing-optional, so you’re welcome to wear whatever amount of clothes you’re comfortable in. We tend to keep clothing to a minimal when we’re home ourselves.

US 👯‍♂🐕

We’re two easy-going guys who love Salt Lake City and love sharing it with people visiting from elsewhere. We’re both retired ballet dancers who now work in public space management, so we’re big fans of cities, arts, good food, and interesting people. We’re happy to give recommendations, point you toward our favorite restaurants or bars, or let you do your own thing.

And then there’s Cookie, our very friendly dog, who considers every guest a potential new best friend and will probably make himself part of your stay whether you asked for it or not.

THINGS TO DO 🌈

Salt Lake’s most special quality is its access to nature, so you have to get into the mountains while you’re here. You can walk from our place up City Creek Canyon and be immersed in nature within 30 minutes. If you have a car, you can drive to countless trailheads in just minutes, and we’re happy to point you towards our favorite hikes.

Here for the weekend? We’re a block from Pioneer Park which hosts one of the biggest farmers markets in the country every Saturday from June–October. It’s a great place to grab breakfast, local produce, and people watch.

Utahns have a surprising love for the performing arts so we have high-quality symphony, ballet, opera, modern dance, and theatre groups all performing nearby theatres. There are also always traveling shows in town including Broadway productions.

While Salt Lake’s not necessarily known for nightlife, we have some very cool bars worth checking out, including some iconic gay bars. The Sun Trapp, one of the West’s oldest, is just a few blocks from us, and Try Angles, a dive bar with themed nights, is just a short train ride away.
