Great duplex in the Town

I spent a wonderful week at Hugo and Mauricio's house and ended up extending my stay. A fantastic house, impeccable location, but even better than that are Hugo and Mauricio who are now my new friends

Mauricio and Hugo's house is the place you want to return to after a long day exploring Medellín. It's pleasant, super comfortable (it's been a while since I slept so well!), the location is perfect, and it's like an oasis with everything you need to feel good. But, the best of the best are Mauricio and Hugo—what wonderful people. I feel like I'm leaving with two good friends. They took care of me (they even took me out to dinner), helped me with everything, and at every moment they were concerned with making me feel at home (even in the city). I don't want to leave 😬

I had a great time staying at Walter and Hugo's place. They were very kind and hospitable. They even helped me book a day trip with their own phone. It was great to interact with them as locals as I learned about Medellin through their perspective. They have 2 super cute and well-behaved dogs that added value to my experience. The place is just steps away from a lot of restaurants. Poblado park, where I arranged for my day trips to Guatape and Santa Fe, is just 2 short blocks away. I highly recommend them to other travelers.

Hugo and Walter have been wonderful hosts. They opened the doors of their home to us and we felt so comfortable with them that we were very sad to leave. We talked, went together to see a parade, went out partying. It was a lot of fun, we already consider them our friends! The apartment is large, fully equipped and very comfortable. In a very good and safe neighborhood. Highly recommended.

We highly recommend this misterb&b. The apartment is located in a safe, quiet, and trendy neighborhood, and having access to a private bathroom, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna felt luxurious. What truly sets this place apart are the hosts, Hugo and Mauricio. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like we were staying with lifelong friends. They are genuinely the best hosts you could ever ask for and constantly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

Walter and Hugo are the perfect hosts and their home is wonderful - spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, a superbly comfy bed - and I was welcomed with a glass of wine - what more can you ask for. I am a solo traveller so they were really helpful advising me where to go both in Medellin and beyond for my travels in Colombia. The location is great - a 10 minute walk to the metro, plus lots to do in Poblado if you don't want to head into town. I cannot recommend their home highly enough.

Highly recommend, great location and amenities in the building. The guys are very easy going and the building is beautiful. Amazing views from the terrace with a gym, sauna, steam room, cold plunge, pool, and jacuzzi. All overlooking El Poblado/Provenza

I had a great time in Medellin with Mauricio and Andres. They were friendly, thoughtful and gave great advice on the city. They also have the sweetest doggies who like to cuddle. The apartment and room were very nice, in a good area. It's a small walk to the station and I never felt unsafe walking the street alone (mainly during the day). The apartment also has the sauna and jacuzzi on the roof which was nice. When I go back to Medellin, I would really like to stay with them again.

Hugo was very kind to receive me almost at midnight and let me use his charger for my entire stay. The place is well-located - 20 minutes walking from the "center" of Poblado, but far enough away to not hear the party noise at night. Plus I felt very safe walking home even after midnight.

Hugo and Mauricio's attention was incredible. They welcomed us with so much kindness, gave us recommendations, and were very welcoming as hosts. I'll keep them in mind for my next trip to MDE!
