This secluded property is just steps from gorgeous private beaches on Napeague Bay and less than 2 miles from Atlantic Ocean beaches. It is also close to all activities and an organic farm, yet far from any hustle or bustle.
Set among the treetops, this house was built by Harry Bates, one of the East End's most heralded architects in 1967, and I renovated it in 2007. It was featured on the cover of Dwell magazine in April 2009.
It's a special place--whether you're want long, deep sleeping and awakening to birdsong in summer, or swimming, kayaking, cycling. (I have a kayak and bikes) .Outdoor shower, stocked kitchen, plus 2 outdoor grills if you cook. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sonos, etc...if you want to kick back and chill.
I've recently planted a pollinator garden to attract more bees and birds. I killed my lawn!
Ideal for a couple or small family. Pet friendly.

No smoking inside please. I'm pet friendly provided your animal is trained and well behaved. They're welcome all over the house and on all of the beaches but not on the furniture. My house is about 5 miles from Two Mile Hollow, the gay beach in East Hampton. You can bike there in about 30-45 mins and it's an easy and beautiful ride.
