Why not stay in Detroit's fabled "Motown Mansion" - former home of Berry Gordy, founder of Motown Records? This iconic property is only available for short-term stays through MisterB&B. We offer up to four bedrooms (two queens, two singles), each with a separate bath. House tour, off-street parking, breakfast included. All bedrooms have air conditioners. Dogs are also included. If that is a problem, this won't be a good fit.

Our home is just off Woodward Ave., and about 6 miles from downtown Detroit. Its an 18-minute drive to DTW in light traffic. The Lodge Freeway is only two blocks from the house, making driving super convenient. The Motown Museum is only a mile from the house, along with the Fisher Building and the entire New Center area. The cultural district is a short drive down Woodward Ave.

The owner will be in the house during your stay, to ensure you have a safe and comfortable experience. We have three large dogs and a new puppy, who will be in the house with you. So if you're allergic to dogs, or might be frightened or disturbed by a large dog who barks occasionally, this is not a good place for you. If you love dogs, there's plenty of puppy kisses to go around. No smoking in the house. The property is both gated and fenced, and off-street parking is available.
