The apartment is a little dated, but the location is perfect for enjoying the beach and various restaurants. If there's a strong storm, be warned it will tough to get to the old city and airport. The streets flood, and traffic comes to a halt.

Really clean, spacious, and nice apartment. Very easy to check into and footsteps from the beach and supermarket. Santiago is easy to connect with on ******** to answer any questions you might have. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The apartment is nice. One of the best things is that it is across the street from the "gay" beach at Playa Hollywood. As for the unit itself, it is poorly insulated with single pane shutter-type windows in the kitchen area with no sun block/shades. So, the sun bakes the whole living room and kitchen area as a result (even with the living room shades closed). Leaving the AC off while you are gone, as expected by house rules, results in returning to an oven-like dwelling. The AC units are not central air, but rather two wall mounted units in each bedroom that work well in the bedrooms, but not so much throughout the whole unit. There is a ceiling fan in the living room though to help move the hot air around. There is a nice balcony off the living room that provides a good view of the lagoon and the rundown buildings adjacent to the property. Upon arrival, there is an expectation that each person pay 5000 COP for an id wristband which was not mentioned by anyone. Works out to about $2, but seems a bit sleazy. The tv's and stereo are nice, as is the washing machine (no clothes dryer-- there is a drying rack on balcony). We didn't cook, but I assume the oven and stove are fine. Refrigerator worked well.
