A room in a central Darwin apartment walking distance to city venues

Dave prepares you a delicious "very English" breakfast with soft-boiled or fried eggs with toasted bread. Large room, bed with an excellent mattress, beautiful private bathroom and we were able to park our vehicle in the secure parking of the residence.

Dave and Dave were friendly and welcomed me to their place. Very good location, close to shops and the city. The room was neat and tidy with direct access to a balcony and a private bathroom. Dave has wonderful information about Darwin and its history and things to do in and around the city. Communication was easy and quick. Will definitely recommend the place.

When choosing somewhere to stay, location is of prime consideration and Dave & Dave’s unit proved perfect in that way and more. I was provided a very comfortable room with ceiling fan and air conditioning. A security and insect screened door led to the balcony and this allowed fresh air to circulate, so I slept perfectly comfortably without requiring either the fan or aircon. There was a toilet and bathroom exclusively for the guest use across the hallway. Everything was clean and functional. With a specific list of things to do and see in Darwin I spent two full days out and about sightseeing and only had the evenings back at base with the hosts. I enjoyed conversation with the men and gained much local knowledge. The unit is ideally located to access Mindal Beach and the famous fish feeding at Doctors Gully. Town centre is a stones throw away and the very interesting “Bombing of Darwin and RFDS” combined displays are an easy walking distance. A set of keys was provided allowing one be independent when going out and coming in. Breakfast provided included cereal, toast and accompaniments, with tea and coffee available to make at any time. In all, I had a most pleasant stay with Dave and Dave, in their clean, ideally located dwelling. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great base in Darwin!

Davids's place is at a perfect location, very easy to get around, it's in the heart of the city and walking distance to awesome bars and restaurants. Place is great, very clean and has everything you need. Both Davids were very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions. Totally recommend it and I had a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
