I enjoy having guests and getting to know and meet new people from around the world. I would be happy to spend time with you and offer you a local’s perspective to all there is to do in the area. Many guests have said that staying here is like being at a private boutique spa. That level of comfort was my goal when I opened my home to guests. Building on that theme, I've just completed comfortable spa room to give you the feel of being at your own intimate resort spa. I’ve installed a beautiful 4 person dry sauna in a relaxing room, complete with a professional massage table w/ oils, music, and aroma therapy. The room is also set up with exercise equipment; adjustable free weights, reclining bench, treadmill, yoga mats, fresh spa towels and chilled mountain spring water. I also have a massage therapist who will come to my home. You can have a massage, sauna, hot tub then hit the bed all with out leaving the home or getting out of my my heavy plush Turkish cotton robes.

Well, I'm always at a loss for what to put in these profiles.
I'm a recently single guy whos very open to meeting new people, and sharing my love of this area and all there is to do outdoors and so near by. Opening my home to Mister B&B travelers is a good fit for my lifestyle.
I travel some, mainly for work, but I would rather spend my travel time backpacking as high up in the mountains as I can get. I enjoy anything outdoors, backpacking, hiking, swimming, skating, exploring. I've been a long time ski patroller and ski as much as I can in the winter. If you to are always looking for the best powder stashes, I can help get you into all the best locals spots at Powder Mountain.
I also enjoy spending time at home doing projects around the house, and just enjoying time spent in my comfortable home. I've just completed a new very private patio with a hottub. A great way to relax and spend the evening soaking, watching TV or what ever.
I enjoy meeting and learning from new people and experiencing different places and cultures. The idea of hosting guests and sharing my experiences is something I have always found fun. I've also learned to get out on my own, and though I enjoy the company of others, I've choosen not to miss out on life because my interests and time tables don't always fit into others availability.
I have a masters in Social Work and am currently the administrator of a hospice agency. I work a lot and travel through out the state regularly. Chances are I wont meet you when you arrive but I will be home in the evening to visit.
Just a regular nice, down to earth guy, I guess.

The distances to unlimited outdoor activities near my home are measured in feet not miles. A river, trails, 15 miles of paved parkway, Hundreds of miles of trails for Mt. biking/hiking start from two near by trail heads, waterfalls, hot pots, hiking, climbing, bouldering, road biking, parks, gardens, restaurant, shopping, outdoor equipment rentals are all less then 1 mile from my home.
Downtown Ogden and historic 25th street is only 3 miles away with a collection of clubs, restaurants, entertainment, gym, theater.
Skiing at both Powder Mountain and Snow Basin are only 20 minutes away. I've patrolled at Powder for many years and can hook you up with a locals guide into the best hidden pow stashes. I can also get you discounted passes to Powder Mountain, just ask. I also have ski storage and boot dryers for my guests use
I’m the summer I set my guests up with standup paddle boards, Kayak and electric Mt. Bikes. There is a nearby lake just for paddle sports and great cliff jumping.

Ron has an amazing place! He welcomed me into his home we sat and got to know each other and then he showed me all the wonderful things he has for his guests. I used the sauna and it was wonderful. Will be back! Thanks Ron!

Ron has a great place here, especially if you are planning to ski at one of the resorts around the Ogden Valley (Powder Mountain, Snow Basin, or Nordic Valley). He has put a ton of time into making this a great home base and is eager help his guests make the most of their stay. Especially appreciate that he was able to get me in at the last minute.

Ron's place was perfect spot to relax on a long road trip home. The hot tub and then massage chair were great way to wind down my day. There are so many amenities, it's hard to use them all. I really liked the weighted blanket on the bed and then in the morning, the breakfast options which included fruit, yogurt, pastries and coffee. I will definitely stay again when passing through.

This was such an amazing experience. From the ride along in his beautiful TESLA to the relaxing hot tub while it was snowing, it was a blast. My husband and I went here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Ron's place is exactly how it was described which is a full SPA atmosphere. Thank you Ron, you truly gave us a weekend to remember.
