We spent six nights in this lovely apartment and can definitely recommend it. Initially we were a little concerned about the lack of balcony or outside space, but the living area is so beautifully airy and light that this really isn't a problem. The windows open onto a very central street (rue Saint-Rémi), from which you do hear some hubbub, but the bedroom is at the back of the property and very peaceful. The location is wonderfully central and the old town and quays very easily accessible. Tram and shuttle to airport very simple. The apartment is suitably equipped and furnished to a high standard. The host is absolutely delightful and met us and saw us off at the end of our stay to check we were OK. He provided some excellent recommendations for eating and drinking, all of which we took up and found to be great. A great set-up for a stay in Bordeaux!
