Enjoy your stay in this spacious ranch, located in the quiet neighborhood of Kingston, just 15 minutes (~6 miles) from the Augusta National Golf Club, Fort Gordon, and Downtown Augusta. The guest room is well-furnished and suitable for short- or long-term stays, perfect for visiting military or medical personnel.

Mi casa, su casa. All spaces are available to guests, with the exception of the owner’s bedroom. Kitchen, living room, dining room, sunroom, backyard... all available to you during your stay.

This is the primary residence of the host, who will be present during your reservation. Do heed warning, the host has two cats who, generally, have free-reign of the house. If requested, they may be sequestered during your stay. All efforts will be made to clean and remove hair and dander.

Things I enjoy: • Politics: domestic and global affairs • Education: fully support public education and teachers’ rights • Sports: not a big fan, but I enjoy a good game of hockey (Go Flyers) and soccer • Language & Culture: proficient in English and العربية, and get around in Svenska and Español • Travel: International and domestic; let's compare and plan • Music: almost anything; very nerdily familiar with marching band, drum corps, DCI, DCA, and WGI

Located less than a .5 mile away is a shopping center with a Target, Regal Cinemas, and a few chain restaurants. Highly recommend visiting Downtown Augusta for local eats and drinks: Whiskey Bar and Kitchen for delicious burgers, Bees Knees for tapas and drinks, Metro Coffeehouse and Pub for your various brews, and Boll Weevle for out-of-this-world cakes and treats. Walk along the river walk, stop by the James Brown statue, or go across the Savannah River into North Augusta, SC and go for a stroll along the Greenway Recreation Trail.

Host recommendations

- Pets: Please contact owner to discuss bringing pets. Accommodations, of course, will be made for ADA animal aides. The owner’s cats are very affectionate and love attention — feel free to pet and play with them. However, please do not let them outside. - Addt’l Guests: The guest bedroom is designed for two guests, but accommodations can be made for more, for an additional fee of $25/person/night (up to 4). Those accommodations include a full size bed and a plush floor pad. - In an effort to reduce traction of dirt, please remove shoes while inside. - Feel free to use the kitchen, its appliances and tools. Kindly request that dishes are placed in the dishwasher and/or washed when finished. Pots, pans, and knives are not dishwasher safe and must be hand-washed. Use the provided dish cover in the microwave. - Please recycle much as possible; there is a blue bin available in the kitchen and one outside for larger items. Monday is garbage pickup day. - Alcohol consumption is allowed. Recycle bottles and cans. Please do not drink and drive. - Washer and Dryer are available for use; when finished, please leave washer door open for ventilation and remove lint from dryer lint trap. Iron is available, as well.
