Host recommendations

• Please do not open the windows as the humidity and moisture can affect the paintings in the apartment. Pollen is also a problem in the area during seasonal changes and can create a mess as well. Air conditioning and fans are there for your comfort. • When leaving the apartment for the evening, please turn off all lights and fans. Outside lights near the entrance are motion activated for your safety. • If you need assistance in bringing your luggage up the stairs, feel free to ask me for help. I'll be more than happy to assist. • The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans. I ask that there be no frying of meats as there is no exhaust fan and the smell of fried meats (bacon) will linger in the apartment. • Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the apartment. Can smoke on the covered patio...just take your cigarette butts with you. • Prior to checking out, please strip linen only from the beds and put in a pile with used towels and washcloths in the bathroom. • Notify me that you are checking out and leave the key on the kitchen counter. • Thank you for your cooperation and I hope your stay is enjoyable. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact me via text ********. Thank you! • If you are a nudist, please have a towel to sit on when sitting on furniture in the apartment or porch. • Please, no parties! • If for any reason the WIFI quits, just unplug and wait a minute or two and replug, it will come on. • All the electric outlets in the kitchen area have a GFI button to prevent electrocution and is there for your protection. Sometimes the outlet gets tripped causing either the coffee maker or microwave to not work. The outlet to the left of the sink affects the coffee maker and the outlet on the lower middle wall affects the microwave. Just push the button back in and you will be good to go.

Wow... we needed a peaceful getaway to distress and we found it ... clean, very well equipped with everything one needs. This is a little slice of paradise. Greg is a gracious host and a pleasure to talk with. The play room is a lot of fun as well... Great restaurants around too... This a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable place, full of exquisite art... I look forward to visiting again and hoping he has installed a hot tub. A true gem !!!!

This is a great place to stay in every respect. Beautiful rural setting, quiet, peaceful. Greg is a wonderful host, knowledgeable, friendly, with great suggestions on nearby places to visit. I stayed 3 nights and hated to leave. I will be back, for sure!

It really is a private oasis! There's so much history, and Greg had stories for almost every painting, decoration, and piece of furniture. Greg was an extremely kind and gracious host. He helped me with a deflated tire, shared some delicious cookies, and gave me so much information on things to do in the area. It's also very close to Gainesville, so if you're looking for a more natural place to stay near the city, then this is it! I will definitely stay here again next time.

Staying at Greg's place was a fantastic experience. He's a welcoming host and provided all sorts of information about the apartment, the town, the nearby natural areas and the amazing and beautiful art works that make this an incredibly special place. The space is large and comfortable and has a full, well equipped kitchen. The outdoor space is lovely. This was one of my best MrBandB stays ever and I look forward to returning soon!

I'm not sure where to begin, You come off the highway and enter this slice of jungle paradise, it's private, secluded and spectacular. The accommodations are five star plus, and Greg is such a gracious, friendly host I will never forget my experience at this luxurious, natural, and comfortable retreat. If the dates are available to book, grab them, I highly recommend Greg's accommodation.

Can't say enough about this fun, romantic, MisterB&B getaway, with so many extras. A huge space in a beautiful setting, (think large tasteful detached apartment, full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and luxury shower), reasonably priced with gorgeous private grounds including a koi pond with wildlife approaching our beautiful veranda every day. Our host and new friend Greg put love, taste, and history into every detail of the space including his family's many original paintings and pottery. He provided bikes so we could ride to Paynes Prairie and he was extremely knowledgeable about all the local venues, culture and activities. Such a convenient location to downtown Gainesville and such a great selection of restaurants including amazing vegan fare in a hip, welcoming college town. Great hiking as well. What a wonderful first visit to this area thanks to this MisterB&B treasure.
