Quiet room

I had a great stay at Mateus' place. His apartment is spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, and the bed is super comfortable. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe, with some tourist spots walkable and others easy to reach by Uber. And above all, Mateus is a perfect host: communication was easy and efficient ahead of the stay, he was very welcoming in-person, and despite a busy week he found time to chat and share tips about exploring Salvador. This was my first stay on Misterbandb and it couldn't have gone better. Hope to visit again some time!

Mateus was outstanding—proactive communication before arrival and regular check-ins throughout. You can tell he truly loves his city and shares it with pride, which made the stay feel personal. The location felt safe, even for late walks. The room was spacious with a private bathroom. A genuinely welcoming and well-managed stay.

I was very happy with my stay. The host, Matheus, was unfortunately on holiday at the same time as me, but he organized everything perfectly and made sure I was well taken care of. We stayed in contact on ******** throughout my stay, and whenever I needed something, someone was always there to help. The flat was clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable, and my bedroom had air conditioning, which was great. The neighbor was also very helpful when I needed assistance. The place felt very safe, with a house guardian at the entrance who opens the doors. The location is excellent: not far from the city center, not far from the beach, and very easy to reach Rio Vermelho by Uber, which is a great area to go out. I felt safe and well supported during my entire stay. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back!

Matheus has been a great host. He not only gave me many tips on how to go around the city safely, but we also went to the beach, to party, to do sports... I couldn't dream of a better way to discover Salvador, it was more special with the help of Matheus! The flat was clean and it was easy to cook or just relax and read a book :) Wishing to come back soon!

Beautiful streamlined apartment, quiet bedroom, secure building in a trendy neighborhood, close to the beach and great restaurants, all of this already justifies staying at Mateus' place but the bonus is the host's welcome who gives the best advice to discover, with and without him, the best spots and evenings in Salvador, while being mindful of safety. So accommodation to choose without hesitation!

Mateus is an incredible host. His apartment is pristine clean; nicely decorated and feels cozy from the moment you arrive. The area is nice, safe, and has restaurants and supermarkets around. I walked to Farol da Barra every day, contemplating incredible views. Mateus is kind, discrete and friendly; he introduced me to his friends, allowed me to join him to a concert and a local bar. It felt as if I knew him from before! He knows his way around the city, gives great tips on where to go and what to do. The purpose of this trip was beyond getting to know Salvador, to practice my Portuguese, which I could accomplish with Mateus kindness and willingness to talk, even after a long day of work. Without any doubt, I recommend Mateus' place to anyone who wants to have a fantastic time in Salvador.

The apartment is very good. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Bedroom with air conditioning and ceiling fan, which is essential for Salvador's heat. Wonderful bed! Very good value for money. Located in one of Salvador's best residential areas, very close to Farol da Barra. On the other hand, Mateus is more than an excellent host. A polite, kind and attentive person (he even received me with a wonderful cake on arrival). Attentive to the smallest details and very helpful. He accompanied me on several tours, showing me the city, always with precious tips. I would stay at his house again without a second thought.
