I felt comfortable and at home from the moment I arrived. Julio also has a lovely dog who gave me plenty of affection during my stay!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the apartment: very clean, welcoming, full of plants, and with a great vibe.
I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Rio.

The metro is close as well, so you can beat Rio traffic with a pre-purchased fare card. When you come and go from the apartment, however, be prepared to hike up and down a hill. Plan on a few extra minutes to walk down to meet your taxi or uber etc. If you're adventurous take the motocycle-taxi from the bottom of the hill up to the apartment--it'll be part of the adventure."
