Chic & Stylish Loft in Ipanema with Amazing Views

The apt was beautiful. The view is as exciting as described. The beach is also just a walk away--both of them! The metro is close as well, so you can beat Rio traffic with a pre-purchased fare card. When you come and go from the apartment, however, be prepared to hike up and down a hill. Plan on a few extra minutes to walk down to meet your taxi or uber etc. If you're adventurous take the motocycle-taxi from the bottom of the hill up to the apartment--it'll be part of the adventure.

This is my second stay with Ivan and once again everything was perfect! The apartment is even more beautiful than in the photos, decorated with great taste and very comfortable. The view is simply stunning. The hosts are lovely, warm and very attentive. I will return without hesitation and I recommend it 100%! (But please leave me some availability)

I had an excellent stay with Ivan I would have gladly extended my stay! The location is ideal, just a stone's throw from Ipanema, restaurants and nightlife.

Superb apartment ideal for a couple, 10 minutes from shops, 5 minutes from the metro. Safe, clean, and comfortable. Ivan and our host were superb with us.

The apartment is just as beautiful as it looks on the pictures. The view from the window in the morning is priceless! I started every day with a coffee just watching the sky turn from orange to blue over the mountains and the beach. Even though it is close to the Favela, I never once felt unsafe. And the woman who takes care of the flat when Ivan is absent was so accommodating and always ready to help! You can't go wrong with this choice.

The apartment itself offers more than you really need when going on vacation: washer machine and fully equipped kitchen. The audio system throughout: superb!; air conditioning: awesome; the view: one of the biggest favelas I have ever seen. The co-host Alire, very receptive and always willing to help. Challenges: the building is located up on a hill with very narrow streets.

Brilliant! Discovering Rio in 10 days is quite a sporting challenge, but with Ivan's apartment, coming home in the evening (even very late!) and enjoying an exceptional view in a very modern setting makes it possible to rest up! And in the morning, waking up to a good coffee dazzled by the sun, the view of the bay and local life is simply genius! The beach is a 15-minute walk away (both Copacabana AND Ipanema), if you can resist the shops or the market sometimes. The metro is 10 minutes away, in short, we were able to truly enjoy Rio to the fullest. The bed is very comfortable, the air conditioning and soundproofing/light insulation very appreciated, and the icing on the cake is a good sound system throughout the apartment!

Ivan's apartment is stunning. Everything that you need in a self catering apartment. Loved making Brazilian coffee on the gas hob every morning while watch the stunning views. The music system is installed through out the apartment to enjoy music (just remember to bring iPhone adapter for iPhone 8&X) and sleeping in after night out was a pleasure as all the windows have roller shutters. I would recommend to rent a car or scooter upfront as the apartment is located on a hill, hence the beautiful views.

Superb apartment 5 minutes from the beach. Quite calm and very well laid out. The view is impressive, security is always a priority. Thank you especially to Ivan for making my setup easy from France.
