The neighborhood is very pleasant because it feels like a village and you hear very little city noise. It's also very well located, between Lille city center and Old Lille (15min by car, metro bus or bike) and the countryside (20min from the Monts de Flandres and Heuveland region). There's also the recently renovated Parc de la Citadelle (10min) with zoo, acrobranche, boat trips, etc... The countryside is 10min to the north.
