Locally, there are several cafes, good restaurants with tradtional home-cooked food and grocery stores. Between Lagos and Portimao, there are beautiful beaches accessible by train, bus or car. One of the best beaches is only one stop by train and takes just 3 minutes. Several are gay/nudist.
