Important Parking Information: Parking is extremely limited given the dense urban environment, so we recommend using a ride share service or carpooling when feasible. Free parking is on a first come basis and is available at the rear of the property, as well as the side of the property just off Patterson Avenue. Free street parking is available as well on surrounding streets. Situated on Bardstown Road (voted Louisvilles Best Street) in The Highlands Historic District, you will have plenty of unique and iconic options to explore during your stay, no car required. The Highlands is extremely walkable and bike friendly with over two dozen restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, breweries, and endless locally owned places to find new treasures. Nearby Historic Cherokee Park designed by Fredrick Olmsted systems is home to over 400 acres of walking and running trails, vast green spaces and waterways to explore.

Bungalou borders downtown Louisville and the popular NuLu area where you can attend shows, sporting events, visit 4th Street Live, and walk across the Ohio River atop the pedestrian bridge to Indiana. Ride share services are recommended as parking is extremely limited. The Highlands is very walkable, and many scooters are nearby as well.
