Our daughter and new daughter-in-law held their wedding at Stuart Manor, and it was absolutely perfect! Since it was a private ceremony with no guests, Russell graciously accommodated their request to have the ceremony outside on the beautiful grounds, even though it was somewhat short notice. The house and landscaping are positively gorgeous, and the hospitality was wonderful. We went to dinner in town, then returned for a fabulous dessert and champagne to toast the happy couple!
Russell and William's stately, victorian home was such a peaceful and quiet place to spend our long weekend. My husband and I booked a room so we could visit the Carlisle auto show, which was unfortunately cancelled due to storms. Not to worry, we got plenty of antiquing done with lunches and dinners at great nearby restaraunts. Russell greeted us with a tour and history of their spectacular home and he and William made us feel truly welcome. Our room was spacious, comfortable and we were well isolated from outside noises. Rain or shine, we will definitely be booking with them on our next Carlisle visit in the spring!
