The Reveal

House São Bento is a recovered historical building located in Lisbon. Set in a quiet and safe area, this guest house provides free WiFi access. Featuring crafted ceilings and 1960’s frescoes, the rooms at House Sao Bento are equipped with desks. Linen and towels are provided. WE'RE NOT A HOTEL, WE ARE A GUEST HOUSE. We don't have service 24h but we do have two furnished kitchens where you are welcome to cook, we offer you free tea, coffee, fruits, cereals to start your day. Two terraces to chill out

We are located in calçada da estrela, in front of the guesthouse is a stop of the 28th tram line, the most iconic tram in Lisbon. Just 5mim waking ia Príncipe Real, there is the gay club and bars , such Finalmente, Trumps , Construction, Tr3s.. Bairro alto is 10mim waking and shopping area of Chiado is 10mim away. the historic Alfama neighbourhood is 3 km away. Santos Train Station is a 10-minute walk away. For an additional cost, an airport shuttle for the Lisbon Portela Airport, located 7 km away, can be provided.

Difficult to decide what to say for location; a little away from the Metro, but just opposite the back gate of the Parliament building so not far from the centre (a nice stroll back to settle dinner as well). Could easily have given 5*. Overall a lovely place to stay. Tiago was helpful, fun, very relaxed about the formalities (yet everything was done very efficiently), a great person to be running a place like this and we enjoyed meeting him. Facilities were excellent in every way. Room was lovely - old-fashioned but warm, well soundproofed, bright & airy. Best summary: we're looking forward to going back!

We had a great time. Everything worked well, the room was spacious and having the balcony was extra lovely, as was the location off the 28E tram line. We did hear some noise from other guests but it wasn't a problem. Tiago has great, welcoming energy and we would stay there again.

A great stay! The house has a classic style with high ceilings but offers all modern comforts, including modern bathrooms, good windows, and a huge bed that guarantees a great night's sleep. The cozy terrace is a bonus. Tiago made everything easy for us.

Great stay! Thank you! It's a multi-bedroom apartment for rent, but the place is really nice.
