Mariposa Guest House

Enjoy upscale, contemporary living in a rural atmosphere at the serene Mariposa Guest House. This 2-bedroom, 2-bath property is located on a 4-acre country estate. The guest house is in a structure away from the main house and includes its own attached patio and off-street parking right in front. Our location is very private and designed for quiet relaxation.

The guest house has two bedrooms, one with a Cal-King bed and the other with a Queen bed. The queen bedroom also has a built-in, large desk area fully equipped for work. Each room has a small Roku SmartTV. There are USB charging ports and outlets at both bedsides and other locations in the house. A full bathroom with a shower is adjacent to each bedroom. Bathrooms are stocked with hotel-style amenities including soap, lotion, tissue, and more. Pool towels are available, as well. A washer/dryer is available free of charge with detergent and fabric softener sheets provided.

The living area is decorated in a contemporary yet comfortable style. An electric fireplace adds ambiance. A dining table for four completes the space.

Also in the living area, you may stream your favorite music via a Bluetooth connection to the whole-house speaker system or enjoy the large TV with Dish Network.

The full kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals if you choose to dine in. There is a dishwasher, full-sized microwave, gas range with a 4-burner cooktop, and a large refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker. You will find dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, paper towels, cooking oil, and basic spices on hand. In the pantry, you will find a Keurig beverage maker fully stocked with various coffee, tea, and other beverage pods as well as accompaniments for your enjoyment. Filtered water is available from a tap at the kitchen sink. A starter selection of bottled water, beverages, and snacks is provided, so you won't have to rush out to stock up on your first day.

In front of the house is a patio with a table and 4 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, a trickling fountain, and potted plants. The terrace is surrounded by a low wall that separates the space from the adjacent parking area.

The pool patio and cabana are a short walk away, behind the main house. You are welcome to use these amenities from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. The common areas are for the enjoyment of all our guests and residents but in general, you will have the area pretty much to yourself. You may also relax in the glass-walled Cabana to take in the sunset view or hang out when the weather is chilly.

THE POOL IS NOT HEATED but generally warms up to about 85 degrees in the summer months, depending on the weather. Please note that the use of the Hot Tub adjacent to the pool is not available. Appropriate clothing/swimwear must be worn at all times in common areas and the pool.

The common areas of the property are open to residents and all guests from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm. The pool and cabana are shared with other guests and residents. The surrounding area is very spacious and there are several different areas to relax away from other people.

Internet service in this area is by a wireless provider. We do have modern access points throughout the property, but unfortunately, we cannot control the actual connection to the outside world. It is usually fast and reliable, but the connection is shared, so it may slow down during busy periods. We do not give refunds for any outages.
