Our "Casa Rural Palomar" is located on the outskirts of Fataga, 20 minutes by car north of Playa del Inglés, the tourist center in the south of Gran Canaria. We offer two independent accommodations in our gay guest house, which is spread over two old Canarian country houses. We have room for a maximum of six guests in our guest house.
The studio has a kitchen and private bathroom and is a self-contained apartment with access from the patio that connects the main house to the guest house. The patio and other areas such as the dining room in the main house, the garden or the main terrace, where breakfast is served in the morning, are some of the areas you share with us or other guests.
We have designed the garden in such a way that you don't have to feel like you're on show or on a big stage. On the contrary. We have created different areas where you can retreat in peace and away from prying eyes.
We strive to create a relaxed atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable. For us, this also includes the freedom to be naked whenever you want. . As a "clothing optional" guest house, you can be completely naked anytime and anywhere. Without restrictions. As hosts, we are always there. Of course, this is not an obligation, not by any means. Experience has shown that our guests always mix completely casually.
Room service is provided six times a week, towels are changed every three days or as required and there are also towels for the outdoor area or the beach.
The beach can be reached in about 25-30 minutes by car via the GC 60 to Playa del Ingles or Maspalomas. There is also a bus service from Fataga to Faro Maspalomas (Playa de Maspalomas). The village can be reached on foot in approx. 5 minutes. The path to our house is also illuminated at night. And in the other direction it takes about 45 minutes to reach the top with breathtaking views, especially at sunset.
If you don't know the island, we have plenty of tips on how to spend the days if you don't just lie in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Fataga is located halfway between the tourist hotspot of Maspalomas and the mountains. This means that the famous Yumbo Center with its scene is also correspondingly far away (18 km). There are two restaurants and a bar in Fataga itself, so you don't have to go hungry. If you don't mind driving again in the evening, I recommend a detour to Santa Lucia to go to a restaurant there. Fataga also has stores selling art and handicrafts. But above all: priceless peace and quiet.

What a fantastic stay with two super hospitable and lovely hosts Roland and Robert. I had the luck of being the only guest and received a very warm welcome. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The house is in a beautiful location, beautifully renovated and super clean. Lovely to relax in the garden after a day in the mountains. The rain shower completes it. And what peace and quiet! I haven't stayed anywhere where it was so fantastically quiet at night. Roland and Robert also gave great tips for the area. From restaurants to mountain hiking to beaches.

Perfect for people seeking relaxation but not boredom. By car, you can easily reach the mountains as well as the sea, and Roland provides valuable tips. The accommodation has been lovingly restored while maintaining the old character of the house, it's in tip-top condition and equipped with all the amenities of modern technology! The two hosts are uncomplicated and absolutely entertaining without being intrusive.

For anyone looking for a quieter stay in Gran Canaria I would definitely recommend staying with Roland & Robin in Palomar. The accommodation is great, the breakfasts are fab and the overall stay a great experience.

Amazing stay at Palomars. Design throughout is very thought through and beautiful. very informative and discreet hosts. Lovely breakfast in the garden. Very private environment and the opportunity to explore the best of Gran Canaria hikes and its dramatic landscapes.

"Palomar" is a beautiful oasis of peace, silent, green, located inland on the island. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Having breakfast under the porch, kissed by the sun, is a true pleasure. Roland and Robert, whom we thank, are extremely kind, lovely, and very helpful in providing any necessary advice for visiting Gran Canaria. My partner Lorenzo and I had a wonderful vacation. We highly recommend this accommodation in Fataga.

The Casa Rural Palomar is unique and was a very pleasent experience. The location has a stunning landscape and the acommodation is very confortable, in excelente condition and it has a refined good taste. The host and his partner are friendly, polite, always available and do everything for the guests to have the best possible stay. The breakfast is generous and tasteful, also an opportunity to share quality time with the friendly and welcoming hosts. I wish I had stayed longer. Fantastic place!
