Our house in Northwood, Christchurch is a spacious home where you will have a Queen-Sized bed in your own room, but more than welcome to share the living spaces with us. We are only a 9 minute drive from the airport, (we advise more time during peak hours), a 12 minute drive to the closest beach and 17 minutes to the centre of the city. We have different shopping centres close by and right by the northern motorway. You will be sharing the house with a professional couple & their 3 cats. We were previously Fabul'Hosts, however lost the status when we stopped hosting for a few months as we had a friend move in. Now we're back and would love to get that status back by offering you fantastic service!

Hi, I'm Phil. I'm an easy-going guy in my late 40's that has lived in both New Zealand and Australia. The thought of worldwide travel excites me, however Covid put a stop to that for a while, so spent my time renovating and landscaping my house. I like going out with friends for dinner or a show and just as happy sitting at home on the couch in front of the TV with my 3 cats. I'm hoping to meet people from all over the world to tell us all about their culture.

We are only a 9-minute drive from Christchurch Airport, (allow extra time during peak hours). There is an animal sanctuary about 5 minutes away and we are close to different shopping centres and cafés. Depending on the time of year / weather, there is a beach about a 10-minute drive east from here. Christchurch CBD is only about 17 minutes away by car if you want to see the sights / night life.

Phil and Dan are incredibly sweet, friendly and welcoming. Their cats are adorable too. I felt right at home right away with them. The bed was very comfortable and the house was clean, in a green and quiet neighbourhood. Had a fantastic stay and will very happily stay again.

Phil and Dan are friendly and sweet guys. Hung out with them a fair bit and their three spunky cats. Enjoyed getting to know them and the room is a cosy, comfy base for exploring. We joined them out for dinner and drinks one night too

Phil reached out to me 2 to 3 weeks before my arrival to offer a train station pick up. His proactive communication meant the world to me. Phil and Dan are a great social couple who were fun to engage with. I enjoyed the stay very much. They do have 3 cats who were well behaved.
