Wappa Falls Studio Apartment (Self Contained)

My stay with Ian and Dave was one of those serendipitous occasions where everything fell into place and went like clockwork. I chose Wappa Falls studio as it was close to a function in a nearby town, sparing a long drive to and late return from that event. It was fortunate the dates I needed were available. Had great communication with Ian prior to my visit. The self contained studio was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The queen sized bed was very comfortable, with plenty of warm bedding provided. I was concerned being midwinter it may have been cold, however there is a reverse cycle aircondtioning unit ensuring comfort whatever time of year one might visit. As it transpired, this Winter visit coincided with an unseasonally warm period where the daytime temps reached 27oc!! Did not require any heating or cooling. Had not expected to be able to take advantage of the clothing optional freedom offered by the hosts, yet it turned out that I lived sans clothes for the duration of the stay. : ) Just so relaxing and free! The studio has very quick hot water flow to the ensuite shower. Provision of a kitchenette with mircowave oven, kettle and refrigerator made it easy to enjoy a cuppa, cold beverage and meals. There is thoughtful provision of milk and bottled water in the refrigerator, along with tea, coffee. I had bought my own meal the first night and was invited to partake with the host on the main house patio. Lovely to share conversation over a meal. The property also has a hot tub which was a blissful place to soak and watch the evening sky turn to a star filled night. To cap off the stay, Ian and Dave have two adorable labradors, Barney and Rocky. It was wonderful having their company when I sat on the unit deck. If you are not a dog person...(why?)...the dogs can be kept separately from the guest accommodation. I highly recommend Wappa Falls stay! The hosts are with two absolute gentlemen. They provided good local tips. Yandina markets are well worth an early start if you’re there on a Saturday morning. Most certainly I hope to revisit and make the studio a base from which to explore more of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The coastal beaches are less than a half hour away drive too. Ian and Dave are a very friendly couple who were always available during our three night stay. They gave us plenty of local hints and recommendations on places to eat and visit. The studio itself was perfect with everything we needed for our weekend getaway. The bed was super comfortable! We made good use of the private spa after exploring the area each day. The boys lit up the fire pit and we shared a meal together. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The place to be. Ian and David are the hosts you want to meet, friendly, welcoming, kind, discreet,.. It's a magical place, middle of the bush quiet and peaceful, give it a go. I definitely recommend this place. 2 dogs as well, one of them gets his moments 😂 Thanks for the week, I loved it

We just loved staying at Wappa Falls. The location is quiet and beautiful. The hosts are amazing and made us feel very welcomed. The studio was comfortable and the spa was lovely to sit and relax and enjoy to peace and surrounding nature. We highly recommend this place to stay. While tucked away, it doesn't take long to get to Yandina and other great towns and the coast. Ian and Dave are fantastic hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Staying at this serene place was an absolute pleasure... Ian and Dave are nice and accommodating... There are plenty of things to enjoy around. Wappa Falls is a good nature 10/10

A perfect place for a few days peace and tranquility. Close to all the amenities you might need, and some interesting tourist spots to visit. Ian and Dave are great hosts and I hope to come back here again. Thanks guys 👍

Very hassle free stay and friendly hosts.

Ian and Dave's retreat was perfect for us to have a awesome chilled Xmas day, and they were very friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area has lots to explore but the highlight was chilling in the spa watching the stars, we will definitely return.
