Stay in the incredible, walkable, LGBTQ+ friendly Germantown/Schnitzelburg neighborhood of Louisville, where you’re a few minutes’ walk from tons of food, drink, entertainment, and cultural options, and just a short drive from the University of Louisville, Churchill Downs, museums, distilleries, and all the best that Louisville has to offer.
Your room features high ceilings and a bay window that floods the space with natural light. There’s a comfortable double bed (note: full, not queen), armoire, dresser, and nightstand, all with tons of storage space for your things. There’s also a work desk and chair, a mini-fridge stocked with water and yogurt, a rocking chair, a fresh fruit and snack basket, coffee and tea service, and more. And you have a private bathroom attached directly to your room. The home has central forced-air heat and central air conditioning, but just in case, the room is also equipped with a ceiling fan and a portable heater for additional comfort control.
Shared spaces in the house include the living room and dining room, where among other things you'll enjoy the beautifully aged warmth of the original 1890s tongue-and-groove pine flooring. You'll also appreciate the completely upgraded kitchen, as well as our peaceful and very private rear patio equipped with a gas grill and outdoor dining area, and the adjacent garden and goldfish pond.

Check-in time is flexible - discuss with us - but generally, try to check in between noon and 11:00pm. When you arrive, you'll receive a numeric code which will unlock our front door during your stay.
There's free parking curbside, on our relatively quiet side street. Most days, you'll be able to park directly in front of the house, or very close to it.
We welcome guests with physical disabilities who feel that our home will be adequate for their particular needs. However, please note that the house was built in 1892, consistent with typical residential construction of the era. It does not meet current guidelines for accessible design for those with physical disabilities. Our front and rear entries are a few steps above grade and there is no access ramp. Our doors are typically 30 inches wide. Our kitchen and bath countertops are all 36 inches high. There are no grab bars at toilet fixtures.
Our home is all on one level, and there aren't any narrow passageways or tight corners to navigate through the main portions of the house. If you have any specific questions about physically navigating the home, just ask and we'd be happy to give you more details.
If you are a disabled person who makes use of a service animal as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, we will be happy to accommodate your animal. The ADA defines a service animal as a dog of any breed or size that is trained to perform a task that is directly related to a person's disability. Please note that the ADA definition of service animals does not include emotional support animals.
Other than ADA-defined Service Animals, no pets, please.
No smoking on the property, please, inside or out.
No firearms in our home. Not concealed. Not exposed. Not at all. Not negotiable.
Please take your shoes off when you come in the front or back door. As our guest, we'll give you a pair of complimentary slippers for indoor use. Socks or bare feet are fine too, and is how you'll usually find us.
Please be reasonably quiet between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am - and we promise to do the same for you.

1. We welcome social nudity and want you to feel completely at home and comfortable being naked at our place, but remember - and we feel silly having to say this - it isn't an invitation for sexual encounters with us.
2. If you're clothing-free while you're here, depending on timing and circumstances, we may or may not be - one of us might likely be naked most of the time, while the other likely would not.
3. Whenever you're going clothing-free, please always use a towel when sitting on any furniture throughout the home.
