private room in tastefully updated midcentury ranch. walking distance to grocery, hospitals, fitness, spa services,restaurants etc. shared bath. home has 2 living rooms - plenty of room to chill. new bed, new mattress and new luxury all linen bedding and velvet drapes from pottery barn. the room has a 50” qled hd tv with air play, netflix, hbo. hulu and the fastest wifi available from xfinity. fast enough for any work you might have to do. a stocked mini fridge with complimentary waters and soft drinks is there for you as well. i am about a mile in different directions from 3 planet fitness locations. im 3 miles - a $12 uber (without surge$) to the historic district and night life options galore. Space is ideal for those coming to Savannah to take in the historic district, or anyone coming for the hospitals, walking distance to Candler, memorial, lewis cancer pavilion, and the Habersham Village commercial district is about a quarter of a mile away.

There are a ton of great restaurants in our town and few that are in no particular order that I love are: The Grey Noble Fare Cotton and Rye, the green truck Al Salaam Artillery

David is a wonderful host. He made us feel so welcome and was keen on making sure we were comfortable in every way. His mid-century home is beautiful and immaculate. I especially loved that pink tile bathroom and original kitchen cabinets! We enjoyed his company and would highly recommend staying with him. Unfortunately, we were there for only one night, after driving 13 hours with our dog. We were a bit exhausted and short on time to explore Savannah or get to know David better. But after this visit, we are curious to return for a longer stay with David, if he will have us again. ;-)

David is a wonderful host and I can't recommend this listing enough! His home is beautiful and cozy. It's within walking distance to everything you could need, but he will have already made sure your needs are met. He's fantastic and I will book with him every time I'm in Savannah. Thanks David!

David's home is a beautifully preserved and appointed place to share in a central and convenient location. I was fortunate enough to have a few moments of conversation and connection while enjoying a restful and relaxing retreat to my travels to a city that is more like my home, than just a tourist destination. David is charming, insightful and inspiring to me and I hope to visit again soon and completely recommend it as an option to be local in a city that has every other strata of accommodation available.

David is an amazing host. His home is very comfortable and has a great mid-century aesthetic, complete with the furnishings, art and books. David went above and beyond in assisting for a favorite restaurant reservation and attention to a great morning coffee and breakfast. The room is beautiful with super comfortable bed and beautiful linens. David is a great communicator. His wonderful dog is super sweet. Very glad I veered into town on a long distance drive to this warm and welcoming home.

David's comfortable room in midcentury home was as advertised. David communicated well before and during visit. House is in a beautiful tree lined neighborhood that is both safe and convenient for touring Savannah. The room and bed are most comfortable. Highly recommended!
