Private room in Shadyside with queen bed, dresser and lounge chair. Includes private bathroom just for your use, both on second floor. Living room, dining room, kitchen and side deck/yard for chilling are shared space with me and my dog. Top Choice in the Gayborhood.
Off Street Parking. Close to public transit and walking distance to restaurants, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Target, LA Fitness, Gay bars and Coffee Shops.
This space is available during limited dates as I travel a lot.
It is part of a duplex so we have to be quiet and respectful of my upstairs neighbor.
You must be dog friendly.
If I am home and the room is available, I'll make sure you have a good time...in Pittsburgh.

Mark was a sweetheart and a great host! His house was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and the hospitality was great. I plan on staying with Mark on return trips to Pittsburgh.

Mark's place was a perfect place to stay in Pittsburgh. It's a beautiful building in a top end location in the city with lots of terrific restaurants within walking distance. Check in was easy and easy and welcoming.

I enjoyed meeting Mark and getting to stay at his beautifully maintained and appointed home. We connected on many aspects of our life journey including family, music, culture and profession. Mark is a wonderful and thoughtful host and I'd highly recommend his place!

It is my second time staying at Mark's. I was not disappointed although Mark was not there. He had to leave town. He gave me perfect instructions how to get in where to park and anything else that was important for my staying it was perfect thank you Mark.

Mark was an excellent host and provided us with so many options of things to do while we were there. He took the time to understand what we wanted to do and then made a number of suggestions. The place is great and exactly the break I needed. We loved the historical architecture and the art work. We would highly recommend this place to anyone while visiting Pittsburgh. Location is great as well. Would definitely stay again when we visit Pittsburgh.

The property was amazing, an architectural gem situated in the heart of a great Pittsburgh neighborhood within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and gay nightlife, with easy access to the rest of the city via public transportation. The guest room and bath were thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Mark was a real sweetheart, very friendly and open, during to my regrettably short stay. I'll definitely be booking with him again on my next visit.

Mark was an excellent host. He was very knowledgeable about the area and had a beautiful home in a great area. He also has a cute and very friendly pup 🐶 ❤. The room was very comfortable and we were able to come and go as we pleased while seeing the sights Pittsburgh had to offer. Would definitely recommend!
