Quiet little hotel near the beach, that combines sea and mountain

Hotel Akifron is a small and peaceful hotel located at the center of Greece, in the picturesque village of Kala Nera. The host, Aspa, is a gay activist that aspires to unite and activate the local gay community, host events and meet people with similar interests fron around the world. The hotel features rustic architecture combined with modern facilities. All rooms have flat TV, mini bar, air conditioning, and free WiFi. Each garden view room has direct access to our paved garden, while our sea view rooms are accessible through a small stone staircase. The garden view rooms are also accessible for people with movement disabilities. Families and pets are welcome! Kala Nera is a beautiful seaside village, strategically located in the base of the famous mountain Pelion and near the city of Volos. Our guests have easy access to the village beach, where they can find numerous restaurants and cafes, and enjoy many activities, such as swimming, SUP, canoeing, jet skiing, daily excursions with a private boat and many more. You can just as easily access numerous gorgeous beaches in the surrounding area, each one with a unique character, some of them full of life and others more quiet and private. In the many villages of Pelion you can enjoy the warm hospitality, the traditional architecture and the delicious food. Horse riding, guided or free hiking, wine tasting are only few of the activities that the mountain offers. Volos, the nearby city offers a lot of options, such as restaurants, bars, museums, archeological sites, playgrounds and so much more!
