This is a quiet, furnished, recently renovated 1-bedroom condo in a beautiful red-brick, 2-story building. 652 sq feet. The futon in the living room can open up into a guest bed. The bedroom has a double bed and an adjustable standing desk. AC units in living room and bedroom; steam heat radiators. Small flight of stairs. Credit-card operated laundry room in separate building on the property. No pets.
1 mi south of the Ballston metro station; transit easy. Parking available.
The unit is spacious for 1 person and comfortable for 2. If needed, a blow-up mattress is available.
My favorite thing about this apartment is that it gets almost no noise from neighbors. The walls are solid. The bedroom is in a corner of the building, which means you share a wall with no one. Since it is on the top floor, there is no one above you, either. Great for reading and writing.
I live here full time but am sometimes away on travel.
