The guest room is located on the first floor of a half-timbered house that is over 100 years old. There are four guest rooms in total. You live in a lockable room with a large wooden double bed, TV (streaming services and media libraries), internet and charging stations. Bedside table and alarm clock with lamp. The bathroom has a shower and washbasin. There is also a washing machine with dryer. In the warmer months, the garden can also be used. There is also a barbecue.
Enjoy the Solling-Vogler nature reserve. Whether as a hiker, cyclist, motorcyclist or in a car. You will find quiet hiking trails in the beautiful mixed forest, a high ropes course, river landscapes or the nearby towns of Holzminden or Höxter. The Corvey World Heritage Site and Amelungsborn Monastery are also nearby and always worth a visit. Relax in the countryside without having to do without a good infrastructure. The bakery and butcher are just across the road.

I myself live on the top floor of this house, which I only recently purchased. I travel a lot myself and also enjoy being a host. I have tried to think of everything that I would like to find during my visits. If something is missing, I am happy to help out from my kitchen/bathroom.
If you wish, we can also cook together in my large kitchen on the upper floor.
I am a vegetarian and have been alcohol and drug free for over 20 years. Please respect this.
In the warmer months you can use the garden as well as the lounge area. There is another 70 square meters, which is designed as a bar with a large, comfortable seating area.
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the house. Anyone who violates this rule must pay for the complete renovation of the room.
Drunk guests or the use of drugs will result in the immediate termination of the rental.
I am no stranger to human nature, I have traveled a lot and am anything but a child of sadness. If you have any special requests, please contact me BEFOREhand. Thank you.
