Unveiling the Hotel

Located next to Schackenborg Castle in the picturesque village of Møgeltønder, this inn dates back to 1687. It offers free Wi-Fi, tastefully decorated rooms and both a gourmet and a la carte restaurant (seasonal). You can enjoy coffe and cake in the afternoon after a short walk in the gardens, or a drink in the evening.

Each individually furnished room at Schackenborg Slotskro has electric kettle and a private bathroom. Hotel rooms are spread over 3 buildings. Our 7 suites are located at the end of the castle street. There is only TV and mini-bar in our newly renovated suites.

The restaurants are very popular, and dinner table reservation is required subject to availability.

Tønder town center is 2.8 mi away, while the North Sea coast and Wadden Sea National Park are 6.8 mi from the property
