Newly Refurbished County Hotel is a 4-Star independent hotel that is located in the heart of Newcastle city center and opposite Newcastle’s Central Rail and Bus Station, this beautifully preserved 19th-century building is now a modern hotel. The NX Newcastle and Metro Radio Arena are both within a 10-minute walk of County Hotel.
With a flat-screen satellite TV, an in-room safe and tea/coffee making facilities, the rooms also have 24-hour room service available. Private bathrooms each feature an over bath shower and a hairdryer, with ironing facilities also available. Free high-speed WiFi is available throughout.
The Hudson restaurant provides a range of British and international cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The relaxed lounge bar shows sports on large LCD TVs. The hotel offers on site gym facilities complimentary to hotel guests.

Please note for guests staying at the County Aparthotel located 83 Westgate Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1SQ, the pre-authorization is £100.00 for a 1-bedroom apartment and £200.00 for a 2-bedroom apartment. The release of this authorization on either credit or debit card may take up to 14 working days to be released back onto your pending balance providing none of our other services within the hotel have been utilized and will appear back in your available balance within 14 days. This will open a line of credit for bar, restaurant, room service or mini bar facilities. Please note that the breakfast price is only valid if you purchase it when booking. It will cost GBP 14.95 if bought at the hotel. When booking 6 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. We do not accept same sex leisure parties of more than 6 people. Hotel does not accept hen or stag groups. Group bookings of 10 or more rooms are not accepted. Please note that this property can accommodate late check-out for an additional cost of GBP 10 per hour after 11:00, subject to availability. Onsite car parking is limited and operated on a first come-first served basis, parking is charged at £10.00 per car per day.
