“This hotel is a small boutique hotel with about 12 rooms. It is located up a windy hill but that is a good thing because the views from the top of the hotel (which has an impressive pool and sunbathing area) are just amazing. The hotel itself is well staffed, clean and comfortable. The common areas are really tasteful and cheerful. Breakfast is nice and its a bit of a treat really. The guys on reception couldn't have been more helpful. ”

I stayed and L'Homme de Rio for 4 days/3 nights in room #9. This place is fabulous and I highly recommend it to you. It is a short walk to everything and in a super safe neighborhood. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast each morning was delicious and they are happy to prepare something different for you. Only one person spoke English so keep that in mind. Room #9 has a FABULOUS view and very chic. The wifi in the lobby and the roof was fantastic but not in my room so they could really use a wifi booster there. It was not a problem to go to the roof and work as the view was even better there. Helpful Hint: When you leave, let the concierge know so they can buzz you out of the gate. The description tells us about steps but FYI, it was 216 steps to my room. Not an issue because it was great cardio. There is a lift/tram on the top levels but I did not use it. I had a late flight on my last day and they were super accommodating to let me stay on the roof at the pool for the afternoon. Stay here! The place is amazing!
