Jamie·5·Jun. 2026· "To echo all of the reviews below, I had an absolutely incredible time staying with Pep and Mike (and Chato). The apartment is beautiful and the terrace is incredible. I stayed for one week and worked remotely, so I spent a lot of time in the apartment and working from the terrace - the internet was super fast and Chato was always great company and so sweet.
Mike and Pep are honestly so friendly, warm and genuine - we made many special memories together. Thanks again for everything!

Andie·5·Jun. 2026· "I stayed at this bed and breakfast for four days, and from my very first inquiry about booking, the hosts were responsive, informative, and welcoming.
Upon arrival, Ricardo greeted me warmly, explained everything clearly, and was always available to offer help or local recommendations. Ricardo truly puts the âCâ in clean and crisp, the apartment was spotless, comfortable, and inviting.
The patio provided a beautiful space to relax, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I slept wonderfully every night and could have happily stayed in bed much longer each morning.
The location is excellent, with easy access to buses and the metro. Bolt and Uber are also very affordable. Many attractions are within walking distance, including the city center, the Tagus River, shops, and several charming local restaurants. There is also a coffee shop at the top of the hill that is absolutely worth visiting. Getting around and connecting to local attractions was simple and convenient.
Hugo is a walking encyclopedia of local knowledge. He offered excellent recommendations, shared insights about places to visit, and regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well. We enjoyed several meaningful conversations about life and many interesting topics. One evening, the three of us shared a lovely dinner together, which added a genuine family atmosphere to my stay. Hugo and I also took a relaxing night walk through the city, which led to more engaging conversations and memorable moments.
Despite not speaking Portuguese, I never felt any communication barriers. Ricardo and Hugo both made conversation effortless with their warmth, patience, and genuine desire to connect, making me feel comfortable and welcome throughout my stay.
This B&B is a wonderful example of hospitality done right. Ricardo and Hugo create an environment that goes beyond accommodation, they make guests feel welcomed, valued, and part of the family. Their kindness, generosity, and genuine care made my stay truly special.
I highly recommend their beautiful home and would gladly stay there again. Leaving was genuinely difficult, but it gives me the perfect reason to return.

The location was amazing, with a bear bar downstairs (some street noise but nothing unexpected for being in a dense city). The room and shared bathroom was very clean. Massimiliano couldn't meet us at check in however he arranged for his daughter to meet us and it was very easy. He was also very helpful when we asked about beach towels. Would definitely look to stay with him again next time I am in Lisbon."

We were able to borrow a wine opener and a couple glasses for a bottle we brought home from the Douro Valley. One note: We were in room 2, which was fine, but Room 1 seems to be just a bit larger, so if it's available, you may want to book that one. A great and memorable stay though. Thanks!"

There were less expensive places listed on another platform, but having my own place with a gay owner is more important to me. Paulo is an absolute gem of a guy. He was always prompt to respond with any recommendations I needed and where to go. Comfy bed and great host!"

There were very good restaurants close by (Italian, Indian, Vietnamese right across the street, and a good breakfast place on the street). I used the washing machine a few times. I would recommend staying there. Peace"

I only stayed for one night during an impromptu weekend, but Pepe and Mike were super accommodating with the arrival time, and made the stay really wonderful. Their little cat is adorable, and they gave really good advice for exploring the neighborhood and the city. We even shared a meal at a typical Portuguese restaurant, a truly local and friendly moment.
In short, an authentic and warm experience, I'll be happy to return.
My only regret: a stay that was far too short in the end."
