They have a very comfortable and amazingly spacious house; just out of the main drag area, but with local buses to the beach. We slept in their Africa room which displayed some interesting artefacts, was perfect for our short stay and had a very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was good and there is a patisserie just across the road as well as a number of local eateries for later!"

Both of them are so attentive so caring they helped me settle down really well and they answer all my questions and doubts patiently and I feel like I was taken care of so well in a foreign country. For anyone coming to Nice if you can I highly recommend that you should stay with this lovely couple. I can't wait to see them again in the future."

Jamar·5·Jul. 2025· "Somehow, I felt drawn—almost destined—to stay at The Quiet Man’s Resort while planning my trip to tour the Civil Rights sites in Montgomery, Alabama, and connect with the community. It turned out to be the best decision I made this summer.
From the very beginning, Gary and James were wonderful communicators, reaching out well before my trip and staying in touch as I drove up from Fort Lauderdale. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Gary and had the joy of meeting the best boys ever—Bubba and Smokey. From that moment, everything just fell into place.
Being with Gary and James felt like reconnecting with uncles I hadn’t seen in years. It was a true pleasure to share dinner with them each of the four nights I stayed. We talked late into the evening, and their warmth and kindness made me feel right at home. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Their tips on local sights and activities were incredibly helpful. And when I needed to relax, the jacuzzi, pool, and peaceful outdoor space provided the perfect setting to unwind and reset.
While my room was absolutely stunning, I found it even more fulfilling to spend time outside with Bubba and Smokey—it was just what I needed for my mental well-being.
Each morning began with warmth and joy. Coming downstairs to be greeted by Bubba, Gary, James, and Smokey felt like family. Gary made some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, tailored to my preferences. Our conversations were thought-provoking, genuine, and filled with authenticity.
I was truly sad to leave. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to create such meaningful and memorable moments. This experience was more than a stay—it was a gift. Love you guys!"
