Peter·5·Jun. 2026· "Our stay in Hanuk House was great. Francisco is a wonderful host, his home is comfortable and quiet, and in a great location. After welcoming us on our first night after our long flight to Buenos Aires he took time to offer useful suggestions and recommended a fabulous place close by to eat. On our last night we invited him to join us for dinner at another place he suggested and once again he made a perfect choice. He helped us make online bookings for ballet at the famous Teatro Colon and communicated with a local bank for us after I'd accidentally left a card in an ATM machine. We are grateful for his help making our stay in Buenos Aires such a pleasant, safe, interesting, and enjoyable one. And we are returning to stay with him again next month for our last weekend in South America. If Argentina is in the FIFA World Cup final it should be a great weekend!"

The location was perfect to me: not too far from the touristic side like Mitte and also close by the more alternative side of Berlin (like Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg). There is also a beautiful park 100 meters from the apartment. Daniel is a very kind and friendly host, with lots of knowledge and experience about the city's general and gay scene. I would definitely stay here again!"

We arrived late because of an unusual thunderstorm that developed nearby in Fresno (hail and a funnel cloud!). Nghi gave use a few recommendations for dinner that night and made sure we had comfortable first night. Nghi and his husband were great at sharing the background of the lake and area around it. We'll be back in the fall for warmer weather. A great place!"
