The check-in went very smoothly, Akira's instructions are very clear. The apartment is very clean, but there were much more furniture than in the photos (Akira will explain why ;-). And our best moment in Tokyo was organized by Akira and his spouse, who took us to a great restaurant and then to get ice cream. We had a wonderful evening all together, it was really kind of them to spend so much time with us. Thank you Akira, I hope we'll have the pleasure of welcoming you one day in the land of the Loire Valley Castles!"

Since it was my first time in Pittsburgh, I really appreciated getting to see some of the city through his perspective, and it gave me a whole new appreciation for it. We had great conversations, and by the end of my stay, it felt like I'd gained a friend along the way. The whole experience felt welcoming and comfortable, and I'd absolutely stay with him again."

I appreciated that he got on with his own life while I was there, having people over, sharing dinner, playing games, making me feel part of whatever he had going on. It was so easy to be at Lloyd's house. Great location for downtown Wilmington. Lloyd's little dog, Dexter, is a sweetheart, as he just wants a scratch behind the ears now and then, and if you'll do that, he's your friend. If you're headed to Wilmington NC, and you're not so much looking for the kindness of strangers but rather the kindness of someone who won't be a stranger, talk to Lloyd. You'll be glad you did."

Everything you could need for a comfortable stay was already thought of. Andrea was very easy to communicate with and so kind. We unfortunately only met for a few minutes before I left, but I will most certainly be back! Thank you :)"
