Cozy three bedroom house. Mid-Century Modern meets Hippie Bohemian meets Coastal Cottage Core. every lightbulb in the house changes colour, blacklight reactive couch. Instruments, projectors, art supplies, like living in Mary Poppins handbag; if Mary Poppins was off to Haight-Ashbury. a Suburban home on Acid. 15 minutes from Sandy Hook (and its nude beach). 30 minutes from Asbury Park. 12 minutes from PNC Bank Arts Center. 45 minutes to NYC by car (no traffic) 1hr 10 by train. Belford Seastreak five minutes away. Sociable owner and two friendly dogs

Guests will mostly be staying in Room 1:
The "James Christopher Darling Memorial Library" bedroom (James is alive and well, but ******** the point of having a Library named after you if you're not alive to attend the ribbon cutting?)This bedroom, awash in blacklight, is complete with big screen TV, desk, wide format printer in case you want wallpaper. There’s a bed that can be converted from a twin to a king, this room is basically a museum of nonsense that peaked my interest.

as a back-up bedroom, or recreation space especially for out musically inclined guests we offer the "Ginny DeFalco Mom-morial Mediation Room and Zen Garden." probably the warmest room in the house, adorned with flowers and vines, it may be only a pull-out couch but this room features a guitars, auto harp, mandolin, flutes and even an organ for any music lover. This room also has deck access for our late night smokers (this room is preferably a no smoking room, unless you want my mother to haunt your ass during your stay.)

Other home features include did i mention dogs? laundry facility, full kitchen, large main living room smoking is permitted almost encouraged as long as you're sharing... (except in Meditation Room, you've been warned.) Overall a warm, friendly, fun lively environment.

near the bayshore and a bike trail to Sandy Hook, great for any fitness lover.

If you want friendly staff with eerie smiles on their faces and a song in their heart and passive-aggressive customer service skills:

Stay at a Best Western.

If you want a roof over your head, near the beach for half the price of even the sleaziest motels, but with arguably better wallpaper?
