The city of Rennes is located in the large agglomeration of Brittany. For a long time, the city has been offering its dynamism and know-how to tourists looking for a different French city.

With a rich architectural heritage, Rennes proudly bears witness to a time when the city became more famous. One can easily see in the streets the medieval history alongside the more modern period of Rennes.

Many believe Rennes to be one of those typical Breton cities. This is not the image of Rennes. The city has kept its own character!

For a gay student who wants to study in Rennes, he or she will be happy to know that the gay friendly life is very active. Even if Rennes doesn't have many establishments, you can find nice bars open all year round.

For the tourists passing through Rennes, the city offers some good small restaurants and cheap accommodations.

Every year during the Gay Pride season, Rennes marches for diversity but also to fight against homophobia. The event attracts many curious people but also the homosexuals of Bretagnes. The Pride march in Rennes is the most popular gay event of the year.

For a long time, Rennes was the seat of the Parliament of Brittany until its dissolution during the French Revolution. Today, the Parliament offers all the historical wealth of Rennes in this magnificent palace.

Thabor Park
This park located in downtown Rennes has been named one of the favorite attractions of tourists. Today, the city can boast of having one of the most beautiful public parks in France. Between a French garden and a world garden, there are magnificent and sometimes surprising landscaped areas.

Rennes is an ideal destination to discover the summer. Many make the stop in the city before heading to Saint-Malo and Saint-Michel. Rennes is a great stop for cultural and historical discoveries.
