350m from Rennes train station, come and relax in the peace and quiet of a 1930s house with shaded patio and garden. The room I've reserved for you has a 140cm bed, a secretary, a bluetooth hi-fi system and a small ethanol fireplace.
A second bedroom (see photos) is a little smaller and lower-ceilinged, but more independent, with double exposure to the patio and garden, and a slightly firmer bed.
The first shops (Carrefour City, bakery, pharmacy, launderette...) are just 5 minutes away on the south side (around the Jacques Cartier metro station).
The first (very decent) restaurants are opposite the station, on the north side (8mn walk).
The heart of Rennes can be reached on foot in 12-15 minutes.

But Rennes is best known for its festivals (Mythos, Les Tombées de La Nuit, Les Transmusicales, Transats en Ville, Rock'n Solex, Court Métrange ...) and its sports events (Rennes sur Roulette, Tout Rennes Court, Marathon Vert ...).
