SUB Café

Café im Sub is the café at the heart of Sub e.V., Munich's gay, bisexual, and queer men's and trans* community center, a few steps from Gärtnerplatz in the Glockenbachviertel. Entirely volunteer-run, with all proceeds funding the center's LGBTIQ+ services, it's a relaxed, welcoming meeting point to catch up with friends, make new ones, or find out what's happening on the Munich scene, over affordable juices, teas, beers and long drinks. There's no pressure to spend, and themed evenings hosted by different community groups, plus concerts, readings, art on the walls and a lending library, make it as much a cultural hub as a café.
