Dimitris was a great host, kind and accommodating. His place is relatively easy to get to by bus from the airport (allocate an hour for the bus ride since the Athens airport is on the other side of the city from the port). The port is nearby, so if you've got a trip to the islands, this is a great choice. When I arrived, the sofa bed was already made, the shower had hot water, and we had time for some good conversation. I would recommend Dimitris' place.

Dimitris is a great host ! So nice and gave us super tips. His apartment is well located, especially if you want to go to the islands. He is discreet and gave us our space.

Great one night stay at Dimitris, who's been very warmful, with great conversation, and who tipped me on the places to eat or to visit, as well as the bus stops to / from downtown. Piraeus is quiet, clean, and Dimitris place is 10-15 mn walking to the docks where people were fishing for dinner. I'll definitely be back anytime. Thanks again Dimitris for your welcome and accomodation.

Dimitris's home is an extremely comfortable and well located for early departures from or late arrivals in Piraeus. It's an easy 20 or so minute walk to the gates at the port. Dimitris is a very well travelled and interesting host, who is happy to share his home and make his guests feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend his place for a stay in Piraeus.

The experience was excellent, it's a shame I didn't have more time to get to know Dimitris better. I was well received, with no restrictions at check-in. Dimitris was impeccable in giving me directions on how to get around the city and was always concerned with my well-being. We had a fantastic conversation and he is a person with an excellent level of culture. Very pleasant. I recommend it and if I return to Athens I will try to stay at his place again.
