cozy apartment in the port area of Athens

Even though I only stayed with Dimitris for a very short night, the welcome was incredibly warm. We exchanged local tips, and help was offered. A lovely place to spend time in Piraeus. Many thanks.

Great host and a true home in Piraeus! ​I specifically chose to stay with Dimitris because I preferred a shared space over an entire apartment—I love meeting hosts and experiencing the authentic vibe of a warm, living home. ​Everything Dimitris describes about the apartment is spot on. The room itself is separate, offering complete privacy whenever you need it. ​Dimitris went above and beyond to help me with everything, and it truly felt like he did so with all his heart. It felt like having a genuine home to return to in Piraeus—so much so that I even came back for another stay after a short trip to Turkey! ​Thank you so much, Dimitris!

Dimitris was a great host, kind and accommodating. His place is relatively easy to get to by bus from the airport (allocate an hour for the bus ride since the Athens airport is on the other side of the city from the port). The port is nearby, so if you've got a trip to the islands, this is a great choice. When I arrived, the sofa bed was already made, the shower had hot water, and we had time for some good conversation. I would recommend Dimitris' place.

Dimitris is a very gentle and cool host. He gave me the chance for early check in and late check out. The space was as described and even better. Clean and with good taste.

Great one night stay at Dimitris, who's been very warmful, with great conversation, and who tipped me on the places to eat or to visit, as well as the bus stops to / from downtown. Piraeus is quiet, clean, and Dimitris place is 10-15 mn walking to the docks where people were fishing for dinner. I'll definitely be back anytime. Dimitris's home is an extremely comfortable and well located for early departures from or late arrivals in Piraeus. It's an easy 20 or so minute walk to the gates at the port. Dimitris is a very well travelled and interesting host, who is happy to share his home and make his guests feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend his place for a stay in Piraeus.
