Welcome to Il Respiro del Borgo - Civitella del Lago In the heart of the most authentic Umbria, among soft hills and silent skies, lies Il Respiro del Borgo, a vacation home where time seems to slow down and every detail tells a story. Located in the historic medieval village of Civitella del Lago overlooking Lake Corbara, this home is right in the center, embraced by walls and magical atmospheres. The hamlet is inhabited by a wonderful, extremely LGBTQ+ friendly community that immediately makes you feel at home. The apartment was built around the 14th century and still retains the soul of its origins. It is a terra-tetto of about 80 square meters, arranged on three levels: - On the ground floor, a stone cellar accessible to tourists only in the future. - On the second floor, a living room with fireplace, sofa bed and equipped kitchenette becomes the heart of the house, ideal for candlelight dinners or slow breakfasts overlooking the village. - On the second floor, a double bedroom, a newly renovated bathroom with shower and a sitting area perfect for reading, writing or working in total tranquility complete the experience. Inside, every piece of furniture has a soul: handcrafted by a local artisan, the unique pieces that furnish the house are created with precious recycled wood, respecting nature and the memory of time. Some of the furnishings date back to the early 1900s, and are harmoniously interwoven with new but vintage-style appliances: kettle, juicer, American coffee maker, oven, microwave, coffee maker. There is no shortage of Wi-Fi, TV in both the bedroom and living room, the warmth of the fireplace, and all the amenities for a relaxing stay.
