Welcome to the Bougie Bunkhouse! General Guidelines Please respect my home and my neighbors by treating the space with care and being mindful of our community. Communication is very important to me—if you have any questions or if anything comes up during your stay, please contact me right away. Your room is upstairs at the end of the hall, just past your bathroom (left at top of stairs, right past bathroom, room on the left). During your stay, this space will be entirely private – make yourself at home. The room has simple amenities including a set of towels, body wash/shampoo/conditioner, extra blankets and extra pillows. You may have your choice of bed :D. The TV has a variety of streaming services (HBOMax, Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, AppleTV, CrunchyRoll, and sometimes Netflix). To access the R content, please ask me for the parent code. Guests are welcome to access the entire house except the other two bedrooms. At the moment, the dining room/office is not very accessible, either. You can have full use of the kitchen. Just please clean up after yourself. You may especially enjoy the Keurig coffee machine. My policy on alcohol is: help yourself. Just please leave an offering roughly equal to what you consume. I enjoy the eclectic additions this brings to my home. I have cameras in the public areas of the house. I use these only for awareness of who is moving around the house or if something unusual occurs. Otherwise, I do not check the video. For my adult guests, clothing is optional throughout the house (unless I have visitors – I will clarify this as early as possible). I am very sex positive, and allowed by permission only, if you would like to bring a friend home for the evening, please request this as early as possible. If the pool is open (May – August), I will provide additional guidance and rules. When leaving, please strip the sheets from the used bed(s) and put them and used towels in the hamper in the room. Property Access The front door has a pin code lock. Before you arrive, I will set up a temporary pin for you to use during your stay, usually made up of four letters from your name and the date (for example, john1025). While you are welcome to use the other doors in the house, I ask that you use the front door as your main entrance and make sure to lock all other doors. Guests & Visitors Unless by permission, only guests who are registered with me are permitted to stay overnight. Please do not have any unauthorized overnight visitors. Parties and large gatherings of more than 10 people are not permitted. Noise Policy Please be considerate of my neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially during quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Exceptions may be made if arranged in advance. Smoking Policy This is a non-smoking home. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. If you wish to smoke, please use the designated outdoor area and the ashtray provided. Cleanliness & Trash Please leave the house in a tidy condition upon checkout. Wash any dishes you use during your stay or load in dishwasher. Take out the trash before you depart. Trash and recycling bins are located in front of the garage at the front of the house. Check-In & Check-Out Check-in: After 4:00 PM Check-out: Before 1:00 PM Late check-outs may be available
