Cozy room in West LA

Carl's place is beautiful, I love my stay here. He is an amazing host and will make you feel like you have known each other for years. This is a great location and gets you connected with many places around. He offers you local recommendations and things to do. Will definitely recommend and will stay again when visiting LA in the future.

Carl is such a thoughtful and warm person. He communicated very well and was very generous with his time to interact with me. A very fun home. His garden is such a treasure for the urban neighborhood. Will stay again, very enjoyable time.

I had a wonderful stay with Carl and his roommate. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like staying with a host and more like catching up with a friend. We spent several hours talking, he shared great recommendations for the area, and we even went for a walk together and attended a workshop we were both interested in. If you're looking for a place to stay in the area, I can't recommend Carl enough. He's warm, welcoming, and made my visit a memorable one!

You can tell this home wasn't simply decorated overnight—it has been lovingly built and cared for over time, with personality in every corner. It feels warm, thoughtful, and truly lived in. If you're looking for more than just accommodation, and want a place that feels like home, I couldn't recommend Carl's place more highly.

Carl's place is super peaceful and cozy and Carl is a sweet and attentive host! Great for one person needing an easy place to stay in West LA. Close to Sawtelle / Santa Monica and easy to get around.

Lovely place in a great area for what I needed this weekend. Carl was welcoming and gave me space when I needed it, as well as excellent conversation. The apt has an eclectic feel and one of the most charming cats around. Totally enjoyed my stay.
