Welcome to our desert home "retreat" surrounded by rocks and cactus gardens. We are in Morongo Valley, in between Palm Springs and Joshua tree, with a tucked away feel of its own. Plenty to do in every direction!

Our home is available to friendly queer travelers looking for a place to reconnect. Explore the cactus gardens, sunbathe, share meals or hang out in quiet areas, reading or napping. We have a hammock and a fire pit.

The room has two twin beds and a small sofa for reading. Lovely view of the cactus garden. The room is decorated with art depicting gardens, plants and the female body.

The kitchen, living room, reading room, patio, laundry area and astro-turf sunbathing area are shared with hosts and any other guests.

We will serve you morning coffee and oatmeal/fruit to start your day.

Glad you are staying with us! Just a few rules to keep in mind: 1. Make yourself at home! Use the kitchen, living room, patio, garden area, etc. as much or as little as you'd like. 2. Nudity is 100% ok indoors anytime. Outdoors we will let you know where neighbors cannot see you. Keeping clothes on is also 100% fine. 3. I have a cat, so please make sure to bring an allergy pill if you are allergic. I can keep her out of your room, of course. Also make sure that all doors are closed so that she does not get out! 4. Please be mindful of the garden spaces: stay on paths to prevent damage to little plants and watch out for any prickly plants. Wear shoes or flip flops out side.

Lovely dessert house in the heights of Morongo Valley. Easy access to I-5 and to Joshua Tree National Park. Carl was a welcoming and flexible host. Our time at the house was very limited so unfortunately did not have time to relax in many garden areas around the house. Would definitely return!

I had an amazing little getaway at Carl's place! I felt welcomed, comfortable and relaxed the entire time. So many little spots to lounge in a cute desert ambience. Amazing hosts who made me feel like part of the household. It's not too far from Palm Springs yet still secluded enough on a rural road to feel unique, safe, and private. I'd love to stay again!
