Casa Cerritos Master Suite

I booked a four night stay in February. The home, master suite, grounds and hot tub were as pictured and functional. This was not the case for the pool. I was so looking forward to having a pool to enjoy similar to those offered at other resorts and BNBs in Palm Springs. In fact, the photos of the large pool in the listing were a major draw as one of my main goals for my vacation was to spend days and evenings relaxing poolside. However, when I arrived the owner told me casually that the pool was freezing, which was a surprise. When I told him of my disappointment he told me that he could heat the pool but for an additional $75 per day and that it would take at least 24 hours for the water temp to reach 80-82 degrees. I was completely taken aback as he had not included those details in the listing prior to booking my stay. Under those circumstances and others, the stay no longer met my expectations for a relaxing and enjoyable escape to Palm Springs in February. I checked out after one night and relocated to a resort. The owner acknowledged his mistake concerning the incorrect listing. And so I thought it fair to write to him and ask for a refund of two of the four nights, thereby splitting the difference. That was over two weeks ago. No response whatsoever.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Travis's! We wanted a relaxing long weekend in Palm Springs and that's exactly what we experienced. Travis is an excellent cook and his carefully thought out and delicious breakfasts were just what we needed each morning to fuel the rest of our day. The other guests and us all agreed that we felt like we were staying in a traditional and true "bed and breakfast". Would highly recommend this stay to others and we hope we can someday stay here again.

Travis is a devoted host who went above and beyond to help with big and small things like replacing iPhone cords and arranging to see world class mid century modern houses in private hands. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The location is near the center of everything. He is a highly intelligent, kind and thoughtful fellow who made us feel right at home. It was a wonderful visit!!

We had a lovely time in Palm Springs over New Year's. We especially enjoyed the chance to connect with the fun group of guys staying the weekend, over delicious homemade breakfasts! Thanks Travis and happy New Year!

Absolutely delightful stay. The house and grounds are beautiful. The view from the master suite is just like the photo. There are several indoor and outdoor spaces and the entire home is appointed beautifully. Travis is a wealth of information about Palms Springs past and present and a brilliant conversationalist. I have travelled to PS at least annually for 20 years, and this was one of my most enjoyable and relaxing stays. I look forward to my return!

Wonderful stay in Palm Springs. Beautiful Mountain View eating a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast. Nothing more relaxing than a slow morning with coffee and that view. Hot tub and pool was great. We decided to spend time at the house just relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness. Host was sensitive to our needs and provided suggestions as needed.

Travis is an amazing host. His space is very nice and he goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. He is also a very good cook. The breakfasts that were provided were perfect and filling. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay on our next trip

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Cerritos Master Suite for our anniversary. Travis was very welcoming and offered amazing breakfasts al fresco each morning. The room was clean and spacious with nice amenities including a luxurious king bed, a spacious private bathroom, a comfortable seating area, and a massive smart TV. Both the bedroom and bathroom opened up to the backyard, which was just a dream. It includes fantastic landscaping and lounging areas, great pool and jacuzzi, and unbelievable views of the mountains, all while remaining cozy and private. The location is also very convenient, just a little over a mile from the downtown. I cannot recommend this listing enough and will surely be back when I am back in town.
