Welcome to the Coastal Bungalows - your perfect tropical island getaway in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Relax beneath the palm trees, enjoy the warm tropical breezes, and experience the laid-back South Florida lifestyle. We have 4 different-sized bungalows on our resort-style property. Each bungalow is private; some of the outdoor areas are shared.
Conveniently located just a short walk from the world-famous Las Olas Boulevard and downtown Fort Lauderdale, where you are surrounded by incredible restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and entertainment. You are also approximately three miles from Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and Wilton Manors and 2 1/2 miles to Sebastian Beach, making this the ideal location for every type of traveler.
The spacious bedroom includes a queen-size bed, dresser, nightstands, a flat-screen TV, and a large walk-in closet for clothes and things. A semi-private patio is right off your bedroom. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and is stocked with all the essentials you'll need during your stay, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a blow dryer. The kitchen is a nice size for whipping up a gourmet meal, stocked with far more than just the basics. The only thing missing is the food, and one of our personal shoppers will gladly stock the bungalow for you before your arrival, upon request with your provided shopping list.
Also enjoy shared amenities including a coin-operated washer and dryer, 2 outdoor dining spaces with gas grills, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit that can be reserved. And of course, our stunning shared swimming pool, complete with relaxing lounge chairs, umbrellas, and plenty of pool toys for added fun. We also offer outdoor games, including corn-hole and ring toss.
Planning a beach day? Just let us know, and we'll help set you up with beach chairs, umbrellas, blankets, and other beach essentials to make your ocean adventure easy and relaxing. Forgot sunscreen? No worries-we've got that covered too, along with cooling gels for after your sun-soaked day.
And what would a tropical getaway be without frozen drinks? Each bungalow includes a blender so you can kick back, relax, and enjoy your favorite island cocktails beneath the palm trees or around the pool.

Coastal Bungalows is a charming tropical compound consisting of two full homes, three apartments, and a private guest cottage. The property is surrounded by lush landscaping and beautiful gardens that provide a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of privacy throughout the grounds. Although we have approximately 90% complete privacy, there's still that pesky 10% that makes some things visible to the outside world.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a peaceful environment and being respectful neighbors, Coastal Bungalows is not a clothing-optional property. We work hard to ensure a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for our guests; we work just as hard not being on the 6:30 evening news as another problem vacation rental. Pool hours are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Quiet hours outside are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. nightly. Occupancy limits and quiet hours are strictly enforced. Please, no glass bottles, glassware, and definitely not the good family china around the pool. If you have a mini speaker for outside, enjoy, but please be respectful. In compliance with the City of Fort Lauderdale's regulations, each unit is equipped with a noise monitoring device. These devices monitor sound levels, not record conversations or audio. They also monitor humidity levels, smoking of anything, and/or fire. Not our rule; that's the city. And no parking on grass or anything that is green and looks like grass. Another pesky city rule. If the air conditioner is on inside your bungalow, all windows and doors must be kept closed at all times. AC will freeze up, and someone will be unhappy while melting. We are not like the stores on Lincoln Rd in South Beach, Miami. If you have been there, you know what I'm talking about! Special, limited number of guests gatherings will only be allowed with prior approval. We only have a limited number of guest parking spots.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM or after. Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM. Unless previous arrangements were made. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside all bungalows. We do offer free parking in assigned spaces only. If you are in need of an extra spot for a short while, talk with Mike to see what can be arranged.
We know this was a lot to read, and most of us don't need to be told or reminded; we are adults. However, there is always that one person, or that uncle you tried leaving at home (with no luck), that makes us do this.
