Hello to all, Whether you're coming to visit us because of the FIFA World Championship, or if you're coming to Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors for the wonderful Pride festivities waiting to begin. Coastal Bungalows is a charming tropical compound consisting of two full homes, three apartments, and a private guest cottage. The property is surrounded by lush landscaping and beautiful gardens that provide a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of privacy throughout the grounds. Although we have approximately 90% complete privacy, there's still that pesky 10% that makes some things visible to the outside world. As part of our commitment to maintaining a peaceful environment and being respectful neighbors, Coastal Bungalows is not a clothing-optional property. We work hard to ensure a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for our guests; we work just as hard not being on the 6:30 evening news as another problem vacation rental. Pool hours are from 8 a.m. till 9 p.m. daily. Quiet hours outside are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. nightly. Occupancy limits and quiet hours are strictly enforced. Please, no glass bottles, glassware, and definitely not the good family china around the pool. If you have a mini speaker for outside, enjoy, but please be respectful. In compliance with the City of Fort Lauderdale's regulations, each unit is equipped with a noise monitoring device. These devices monitor sound levels, not record conversations or audio. They also monitor humidity levels, smoking of anything, and/or fire. Not our rule; that's the city. And no parking on grass or anything that is green or looks like grass. Another pesky city rule. If the air conditioner is on inside your bungalow, all windows and doors must be kept closed. AC will freeze up, and someone will be unhappy while melting. We are not like the stores on Lincoln Rd in South Beach, Miami. If you have been there, you know what I'm talking about! Special, limited-number gatherings will only be allowed with prior approval. We only have a limited number of guest parking spots. Check-in time is 4:00 PM or after. Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM. Unless previous arrangements were made. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside all bungalows. We offer free parking in assigned spaces only. If you are in need of an extra spot for a short while, talk with Mike to see what can be arranged. We know this was a lot to read, and most of us don't need to be told or reminded; we are adults. However, there is always that one person, or that uncle you tried to leave at home (with no luck), who makes us do this. And the one time you don't say it, well....
