Nearby, it's worth visiting the Olympic Boulevard, Praça Mauá, the Museum of Tomorrow, MAR, AquaRio, the Yup Star Ferris wheel and Pedra do Sal, one of Rio's most traditional cultural spots, especially for those who like samba, history and bohemian life.
To eat or have a drink nearby, the area has practical options in the hotels and restaurants of Porto Maravilha, as well as cafés and gastronomic spaces close to AquaRio, the Ferris wheel and Praça Mauá. Lapa is also just a few minutes away by car/VLT and is a great choice for bars, live music and nightlife.
Regarding the LGBT+ scene, Santo Cristo isn't exactly a specific LGBT hub, but the location is excellent for easily getting around Rio's main gay-friendly spots. From the loft, it's easy to get to Lapa, Botafogo, Copacabana and Ipanema. The Ipanema/Farme de Amoedo area and the beach at Postos 8/9 are among the city's most traditional LGBT+ spots, with bars, restaurants, the beach and a diverse and welcoming atmosphere. Lapa and Botafogo also tend to have bars, parties and spaces frequented by a diverse and gay-friendly public.
My favorite recommendations for LGBT+ guests are: enjoy the evening at Praça Mauá/Boulevard Olímpico, visit Pedra do Sal on a samba night, stroll around Lapa for music and bars, and set aside a day for Ipanema/Farme de Amoedo and Praia de Ipanema, which are benchmarks of Rio's LGBT+ scene.

We want our guests to feel welcome, comfortable and free to enjoy their stay with peace of mind. At the same time, it's important to remember that the property is in a residential condominium, where families, children, students and workers live and go about their normal routines.
For this reason, parties, events or any kind of celebration with excessive noise, movement of people or behavior that could disturb the residents are not allowed. It is permissible to talk, relax, listen to music at a moderate volume and enjoy the space, always with common sense and respect for the collective environment.
After 10pm, we ask you to pay special attention to the quiet hours. From then on, noise, loud music, loud conversations or any extravagance should be avoided.
We also ask you to pay attention to exposed areas of the property, such as the balcony. As this is a residential condominium, with neighboring units and circulation of residents, intimate conduct, nudity, obscene acts or situations that could embarrass other people or be seen from common areas and nearby apartments are not allowed. Guests' privacy is fully respected within the property, as long as common sense, respect for neighbors and the condominium's rules of coexistence are preserved.
We also do not tolerate any form of disrespect towards residents, employees, collaborators, doormen, cleaning staff or other people in the condominium. We strive for welcoming, diverse and respectful accommodation, but above all for harmonious coexistence with those who live there.
