This listing is for a private loft, private bathroom, private vanity, shared shower in my 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom “man cave,” while sharing the main living room, main dining room, kitchen, and traditional sauna (yes, I said sauna!). Jason’s Saloon is an intricately detailed, old-Western-themed masterpiece that sits on half an acre of land, surrounded by nature with endless wildlife — all types of birds from hummingbirds to hawks, chipmunks, squirrels, foxes, raccoons, a plethora of deer that come up almost daily and pass right by the windows for easy viewing, and black and brown bears. This cabin is equipped with modern technology and amenities for a luxurious, convenient, and comfortable stay. There’s a seasonal stream at the bottom of the driveway that roars during storms and sporadically in winter. It’s centered between five different beautiful lakes, all within just a few miles’ drive. It’s been said many times that Jason’s Saloon should be in magazines and resembles a Knott’s Berry Farm theme. This man cave is equipped with an outdoor, cabin-style, traditionally heated sauna — yes, I said sauna (listed as “hot tub” in the amenities section, since the site doesn’t have a sauna category) — a smart Nest thermostat and smoke detectors, an iPod-ready 10-disc CD changer/AM-FM radio Crosley jukebox, three big flat-screen TVs with a Bose theater surround-sound system in the living room, dishwasher, washer and dryer, central heating, a beautiful oxblood-red cast-iron wood-burning fireplace to complement the classic oxblood-red leather Chesterfield couches and high-back chair in the cozy living room, and river-rock cave showers in the main and downstairs bathrooms. Outdoors there’s a charcoal-and-propane BBQ, a tree-stump fire pit with vintage-style furniture on the patio, a huge picnic table and log seating on the deck, and two comfy rope-netted hammocks hung between the huge trees to rest and nap in. I’m also a massage therapist, for anyone interested in an additional spa treatment — and I’m sure I’m forgetting a few more of the amenities I offer. I love everything about my neighborhood — most everything is within walking distance, and there are really only one or two neighbors close enough to be considered “neighbors.” If you walk down the road to where it turns into a dirt road, then follow that past the horse stables, on the right there’s a downhill driveway to an empty lot where you’ll find a lookout point. On a clear day (no haze at city level) you can see for miles. It’s an amazing sight on a star-filled night.
