With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large enclosed garden and free parking, it's ideal for families or groups wanting to experience London while having plenty of space to relax. The garden is one of the best bits: a good-sized lawn with apple and pear trees, a trampoline, and a shaded table for eating outside. It's fully enclosed, so younger kids can play safely while you keep half an eye on them from the kitchen or dining room.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has a window seat looking out over London, you can pick out the Shard on a clear day, and it's one of the best views you'll find in this part of London. The other three bedrooms suit a range of ages: one set up for younger children, one with a desk that works well for an older child or teenager, and a fourth with a bit more character (hats on the wall, and an original fireplace).

There are two bathrooms, so mornings don't turn into a queue: a family bathroom with a bath on the ground floor, and a separate shower room plus WC upstairs.

Getting around

Forest Hill station is 12 minutes walk (allow a few extra minutes coming back up the hill) with regular trains into central London (London Bridge, Victoria, Clapham Junction to name a few), an easy way to have a day out in town without needing the car.

The property is ideally located near some of South London’s most popular green spaces and cultural attractions. Enjoy a relaxing stroll through Dulwich Park or Peckham Rye, both perfect for walks, picnics and enjoying the outdoors. For a family-friendly day out, visit the Horniman Museum and Gardens, home to fascinating exhibitions, beautiful gardens and panoramic views across London.
